Providing exceptional healthcare and understanding our patients and partners is in our DNA. Over the years, we have developed our healthcare offering in line with the families and communities we have cared for, constantly adapting to their needs.
Aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030, we are constantly enhancing our services, providing specialized, integrated, and comprehensive care to improve health and wellbeing, and thus enabling a healthy and vibrant society in the Kingdom.
We are also investing heavily in technology within our hospitals for process automation and unifying patient care records to improve health information exchange and provide seamless service for patients. A central command center has been established to improve patient outcomes by coordinating care between our hospital locations.
We continuously foster a culture of innovation to create value in areas of high unmet medical needs across the Kingdom, such as our foot disease and diabetes center, as well as the dedicated oncology center in Dammam are the first and only ones in the Eastern Province. We also launched the first 24-hour dedicated stroke center in the region.
We share the ambition of Saudi Vision 2030 to increase the participation of Saudi female talents in the workforce. Almana is taking several steps to train and recruit local medical professionals. Through our official healthcare training academy, Mohammed Almana College for Medical Science, we are helping develop the next generation of healthcare professionals, graduating over 180 Saudi nurses each year. We have females leading our medical departments and we are looking to increase this even further by 20 percent over the next five years.
At Almana, we believe in offering compassionate care inspired by family values which has kept patients happier and healthier for over 75 years. It is our rich legacy of delivering person-centric, specialized, integrated, and comprehensive care that makes us a trusted institution and drives our journey to meet the growing needs of today and generations to come.

Specialized doctors
Driven by the concern to provide healthcare services for the local community, Sheikh Mohammed Abdulla Almana opened the doors of the first healthcare center in the Eastern Province in 1949.
The beginning was a humble effort. The Group began with modest sized clinics for dental and ophthalmic care. Over the decades these clinics expanded into five large independent ultra-modern hospitals with 3 additional specialized medical centers with out-patient services and medical dispensaries in the four major cities of the Eastern Province, namely, Al-Asha Dammam, Al-Khobar and Jubail.
