Professional Experience

Dr Jamila has a great experience obtained by working at the only tertiary hospital in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia, and serving high volume of patients, exceeding 500 per year.

Heading the breast section that is running a well-structured Multidisciplinary breast cancer management program with up to date medical and surgical oncology knowledge.

She has a long experience in treating benign and malignant breast diseases.

Screening average and high risk women for breast cancer and providing the prophylactic management based on latest international guidelines and recommendations.

Performing a variant of surgical oncology and Oncoplastic procedures, including:

Intraoperative ultrasound guided lumpectomy for non-palpable lesions without wire localization.

Sentinel lymph node biopsy procedure using dual and triple technique.

Axillary reverse mapping to prevent lymphedema after axillary node dissection.

Level 1 onco-plasty.

Level 2 mammoplasty.

Skin sparing and nipple sparing mastectomy.

Implant-based immediate breast reconstruction.
