• Saudi Heart Association:

  (SHA) is the governing body within Saudi Arabia for all research and teaching in the area of basic and advanced life support systems. Almana Hospitals, Al Khobar is a designated credentialed hospital by the SHA to teach basic and advanced life support courses to all medical professional, to achieve this, the hospital must have a high standard of staff instructors, facilities and technical expertise.

• Saudi Council for Health Specialities:

  This association is the national Saudi Medical council that reviews and grants professional licenses to all medical and paramedical staff. All Almana professional employees must submit all required details of qualifications and training before a professional license can be granted from the Ministry Of Health. In addition, the Continuing Medical Education departments in each hospital has been awarded continuing educational credit for all ongoing medical teaching activities by the Saudi Council for Health specialities.

• International Medical Department Bremen Germany:

  Almana has a contract of agreement with the International Medical Department of Bremen Germany. This involves senior experienced medical staff from Germany coming to Almana General Hospital on a regular basis to treat patients. Senior staff of AGH is in turn sent to German hospitals for further training. These hospitals include:

  • ZKH Bremen St Jurgen Strasse
  • ZKH Bremen OST

• Saudi ARAMCO:

  Almana has business contracts in three of its hospitals to provide healthcare to Saudi Arabian oil company employees and their dependents. Saudi ARAMCO is a fully integrated global petroleum enterprise involved in exploration, producing, refining, distribution, of oil and its products. The levels of healthcare standards maintained in the contract are based on the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organisations (JCAHO), which is renowned for setting the standard for setting quality in healthcare.
