Almana Group of Hospitals is committed to providing age related patient-centred care to our clients and their families. Not only do we cure illnessess, we focus on prevention and maintenance of optimum health for all. AGH began in humble surroundings as a benchmark for healthcare in the Eastern Province, providing care and comfort unequalled anywhere in the Kingdom.

With fifty (50) years of experience in health care Almana responded to local demands for other medical facilities. The Group has grown to a fully-fledged network of Hospitals providing comprehensive medical services in the four cities of Easter Region. Almana is today the largest health care provider in that area.

Included in the Almana Health Care Group are various Medical Supplies and Hospital Equipment outlets. This Group is the sole distributor, in the Kingdom, for many international companies, namely B Braun - Germany, 3M, ANAGO and Waterloo - US, Flow Lab and Vitalograph - Italy and MEDELA - Switzerland. Having several branches operating in the strategic areas. The Group holds the lead position in the supply of Pharmaceuticals, Hospital installation and commisisioning as well as sales services.

Manpower

Our staff is highly qualified and dedicated. Each one brings with him/herself a diversity and richness of experience and culture. Staff come from Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, U.K., Ireland, Scotland, USA, Philippines, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, China, Kazakhstan and other countries. New Hires are recruited in keeping with Ministry of Health stipulations and educational specifications.

Management structure

A Medical Director is responsible for the overall clinical functioning of the healthcare services. Each clinical department is lead by a Chief of Services who acts as coordinator for the concerned department.

Non Clinical areas are headed by managers responsible for day-to-day administration and operation. Policies and Procedures preparation is the responsibility of each Department Head. Approval for these is usually granted by the Policy and Procedure Committee or the Chairman.
