Pulmonology

The Pulmonary Department deals with diseases of the lungs. Lung disease is any disease or disorder where lung function is impaired. There are tests that your doctor may ask you to perform in an effort to better define the type of lung problem you have and guide your treatment.

We offer a full range of therapeutic services within our specialty.

Our physicians specialize in caring for patients with the common and complex pulmonary disorders that require the time and expertise of a specialist in pulmonary diseases.

Tests available:

• Pulmonary Function Tests including methacholine test for diagnosis of asthma
• Bronchoscopy
• Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing
• Pleural biopsy
• Chest CT guided biopsy

Outpatient Services

• Consultation
• Pulmonary function testing

Inpatient Services

• Pulmonary Consultation Services
• Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Medical Intensive Care Unit
• Surgical Intensive Care Unit
• High Dependency Unit
• Respiratory and Physio Therapy
• Treatment of acute and chronic respiratory failure

Hours of Operation:

Saturday - Thursday (08:00 am - 12:00 pm & 04:00 pm - 08:00 pm
