Gastroenterology

The division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, part of the department of Medicine at Almana General Hospital, specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract and liver diseases. We offer prompt evaluation and endoscopy for a full spectrum of gastrointestinal (GI) complaints, including complicated peptic ulcer and reflux disease, gastroparesis, refractory nausea and vomiting, acute as well as chronic abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), abnormal liver function and chronic Hepatitis B and C.

Our patients appreciate the minimal wait times, the courteous service, the highly trained specialists; the advanced screening and diagnostic services, the state-of-the-art treatment and the close patient follow up.

Our clinic’s medical records are stored in proximity, and we offer on-site radiology and lab services, resulting in expedient and efficient treatment without test duplication.

Each of our physicians has a wide range of experience in the different areas of gastroenterology and hepato-biliary disease. We have the privileges to have in the department of surgery highly trained surgeons accepting a quick referral whenever necessary.
