Cardiology

Heart disease and blood vessel disorders are the primary causes of death in the modern world. The main contributing factors are high fat foods, smoking, Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension, obesity, stress and lack of or inadequate exercise. Most of these contributing factors can be modified.

Almana’s cardiology department has the facilities to diagnose and treat all major diseases of the heart and blood vessels. The department plays a major role in prevention through advice and education.

Cardiothorasic Surgery

The Expert Cardiothorasic Surgery Team is always on stand-by for emergency cardiac surgery. Elective Cardiothorasic surgeries are frequently performed in AGH Khobar.
