Respiratory Therapist

Experienced qualified staff manages the active Respiratory Therapy Department. Their main role is to support and provide various Respiratory Care Services to improve the Respiratory functions of inpatients.

Respiratory Therapy is provided for any age group requiring this service

Scope of Services

• Bronchial Hygiene Therapy: Chest Physiotherapy, Postural Drainage and suctioning of patients with/without artificial airways

• Aerosol Therapy: Administration of Aerosolized Drugs through Nebulization

• Arterial Blood Gas Extraction

• Lung Inflation Therapy: Incentive Spirometery and Deep Breathing Exercises

• Oxygen Therapy Administration

• Simple Pulmonary Function Testing

• Provide Assistance in Emergency situations (Code Blue)

• Initiation, Management and Troubleshooting of Mechanical Ventilators (Mechanically Ventilated Adults, Pediatrics and Infants)

• Accompany Mechanically Ventilated Patients in Transfer (In-Hospital Premises and to other outside Hospital)

Hours of Operation:

Saturday - Thursday (08:00 am - 12:00 pm & 04:00 pm - 08:00 pm

Note: (On-call services 24 hours a day / 7 days a week)
