The treatment of orthopedic conditions is fully integrated with other medical specialties as well as several subspecialty clinics.

It diagnoses, treats, rehabilitates and prevents disorders of musculoskeletal system which include:

Scope Of Care Of Orthopedic Department:

1. General Orthopedic:

• The surgeon in Orthopedic Department at Almana General Hospital, Hofuf is experienced in the treatment of most of the common and general orthopedic disorders in keeping with current trends and scientific guidelines.

2. Fracture Care

•  All fractures and dislocations.

3. Adult Joint Replacement Surgery and Revision.

• Orthopedic Department is considered the center of excellence for joint replacement particularly knee and hip. This revolutionary surgery greatly improves the quality of life for our patients.

4. Hand Surgery

• Addresses all forms of hand problems. (Bone, tendon, skin, nerves and joints caused by trauma or disease. The aim of intervention is to preserve the normal function of the hand.
