General Surgery

The General Surgery Department in Almana General Hospital – Hofuf was established more than 8 years ago.

Almana Hospital in Al Hofuf , one of the biggest hospital in Al –Hasa area, caters for thousand of the population .

The General Surgery department is equipped with state of the art laparoscopic and conventional surgical equipment , including operative microscope and modern imaging services - ultrasound , CT scan and MRI.

The Department is supported by:

• Surgical and Medical ICU

We offer high standard level of surgical service including :

• Diagnostic Laparoscopy
• Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy
• Laparoscopic Appendectomy
• Staple haemorrhoidpexy for piles
• Staple haemorrhoidepxy a new superior technique for the complete eradication of the problem and post operative pain.

Additional to this ,we deal with complicated cases which need tertiary care service.

Our department participates actively in the hospital CME. We strive to upgrade our standards of knowledge and practice. Departmental Policies and Procedures guide us in our practice.

Hours of Operation:

Saturday - Thursday (08:00 am - 12:00 pm & 04:00 pm - 08:00 pm
