The department investigates, diagnoses and treats different skin ailments both medically and by laser where indicated.

We provide marked improvement and removal through laser of the following:

2. Birthmarks (red, brown and black)
3. Phototherapy and Excimer laser for: Vitiligo, Psoriasis and Atopic dermatitis

Types of Staff Carrying Out these Activities

The Department of dermatology, venereology and laser surgery is managed by dedicated doctors and nurses. It is equipped with the latest laser machines such as Alexandrite laser; Erbium-Yag CO2 and ND: Yag Q-switched laser machines.

 

Sites where Care and Service are Provided and Times When Care and Service Are Provided

Services are provided by inpatient and outpatient basis. We cooperate with other departments in diagnosis and treatment of various systemic diseases with skin manifestations. Some patients requiring monitoring and more concentrated treatment will be admitted to the ward.

Aside from our dermatology clinics, we also have laser (derma) room and UV laser room. For regular working hours we are available from 0800 hours – 12 hours and 1600 hours – 2000 hours from Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday - Thursday (08:00 am - 12:00 pm & 04:00 pm - 08:00 pm
